Having experienced experts and up-to-date knowledge in the field of time management and project planning to improve the quality of work is of great importance. With all the above conditions, Peyban Company is ready to provide consulting and executive services for geotechnical projects in the field of excavation stabilization, such as nailing walls. (List of some projects of Peyban Company)

Implementation monitoring

Short-term and long-term performance monitoring is done to evaluate the performance of the nailing wall. The employer’s representative, contractor, or a combination of both depending on the method of contract (step-by-step method or performance method), can inspect the construction of the wall. Performance monitoring is usually done by the employer’s representative. If the inspection process is well managed, it plays a vital role in the quality of the wall. Performance monitoring should be considered in the execution of any unusual or critical nailing wall.

Examples of unusual or critical walls:

Walls higher than 10 meters

Walls built to widen the road under existing bridges and walls with very high external overhead

Also, when a permanent nailing wall is built for the first time in a city, it is recommended that its performance be monitored.

Performance monitoring tools for such walls should include:

Inclinometers, surveying points on the wall, load cells, and strain gauges.

Inclinometers and surveying points are used to measure wall displacement during and after construction.

The inspection may include an assessment of the following:

  1. Matching system components with material specifications
  2. Matching construction methods with executive specifications
  3. Matching with short-term performance specifications
  4. Long-term supervision, if necessary.

Consulting and project control

The purpose of control and optimization of the design is to use the best and most consistent methods according to the project conditions and to achieve the most economical and safest design for each project.

In Peyban Company, the members of the design team always try to present plans that take into account the proper performance of the excavation stabilization and project economy and in addition to structural safety, have lower construction costs and less material waste.

All designs submitted are in accordance with U.S. Federal Roads regulations, which are the basis for nailing and anchorage excavation stabilization designs. Also, the criteria presented in the publications of the Engineering System Organization of Iran are fully considered according to the specific conditions and limitations of each project. The design is all reviewed by experts and finally an optimal design is presented.
